“Adie” received a Rev War pension (1858-1872) for her first husband’s, James A Skinner’s, military service. Her son, Lawrence, and his family were listed in the pension document; Winfield Payne was not, meaning he was Thomas J Payne’s son and that Adie must have married Thomas in about 1830.
